Luxe Tours & Travel's escorted VIP Tours of Great Britain and Paris are scheduled only two times a year. These are set to coincide with the limited dates each year that the historic Orient-Express train runs between select European destinations as well as coordinating with opportunities to access venues not generally available to the general public.
Most recently, the latter included a private tour and luncheon hosted at Althorp, childhood home and final resting place of Princess Diana, personally hosted by her brother Lord Charles Spencer. In addition to the rare opportunity to access rooms that are not open to the public, this provided our group with the extraordinary opportunity to visit with Lord Spencer on a very personal level and to hear first-hand accounts about Spencer family history, Princess Diana and her sons, Princes William and Harry. This is the type of once-in-a-lifetime experiences that we strive to include as the highlight of each private VIP Tour we host.
Highlights of our 2007 VIP Tour Included:
"Thornbury Castle was an idyllic accommodation. One could almost feel as though s/he stepped back hundreds of years in time. Each bed chamber was very special and unique. The appointments were perfect. I loved the fireplaces and the decanter of sherry was very classy. The murder mystery night in the medieval costumes was really lots of fun and made the history of the castle come alive. I especially enjoyed the Court Jester's performance before dinner." -- Greg Anderson, Louisville, KY
